US and China military balance in the Pacific

The emergence of high-tech weaponry – which would make it more difficult for the US navy and air force to project power close to Taiwan and elsewhere on China's coastline – has prompted concerns that a tilt in the balance of military power in the western Pacific towards China may come sooner than expected

Clearly, China military is defensive, anti-American global hegemony and the mighty USA’s military threats everywhere!

China is a nation of more than 5,000 years of civilization, rule of laws on moral principles and values. Therefore China is not a nation like others in a hurry.

When China’s navy, (Chinese: 三保太監下西洋), admiral Zheng He or Cheng Ho (1371–1435) who was Muslim, mariner, explorer, diplomat and fleet admiral, who commanded voyages to Southeast Asia, South Asia, and East Africa and the world from 1405 to 1433 before Christopher Columbus, China did not colonize or conquer the counties visited, unlike the Westerner’s Columbus and colonialists and imperialism whose gunboat policies conquered and forced others signed the unequal treaties of colonizations, commercialization, and exploitation of Asia, Africa, America and Pacific countries, etc!
